OZO Phuket Hotel

The design and furniture of this hotel are rooted in the natural texture and vacation aesthetics of Southeast Asian islands, abandoning complex and redundant decorative language, and taking “returning to the mountains and seas, living naturally” as the core design core. The clear romance of the island is integrated with the simplicity and warmth of the rainforest, relying on the collision of natural wood structure furniture and blue fabric soft decoration color materials to create a relaxed, healing, and pure coastal vacation space, allowing every guest to immerse themselves in the unique leisurely atmosphere of the island.
The design is based on the natural environment and uses warm and transparent natural wood to create fixed furniture throughout the house. Retain the natural texture, warmth, and natural color of the wood, without excessive artificial modification, and replicate the simple and authentic nature of Southeast Asian rainforests. The solid structural texture and warm tactile experience of the logs neutralize the lightness and ethereal nature of the island space, creating a calm and peaceful living atmosphere for the space. It combines practicality and natural atmosphere, allowing the indoor space to naturally echo the mountain and sea vegetation outdoors, dissolving the boundary between architecture and nature, and creating an immersive living experience that is close to the mountains and seas and integrated with nature.

The spatial color is based on island blue as the visual mainline, with large areas of blue fabric soft furnishings running through the entire space, extracting the natural color scheme of the sea, clear sky, and blue sea ripples, with rich layers and transparent freshness. The blue fabric with varying shades simulates the texture of the gradual changes in light and sea water on the island day and night, breaking the warm and heavy texture of natural wood materials and injecting a lively and relaxed coastal atmosphere into the space, precisely matching the romantic tone of Southeast Asian islands. The soft texture of the fabric weakens the cold and hard feeling of the hard space, giving the space a gentle wrapping feeling, which meets the core needs of comfort, healing, and relaxation in resort hotels.
The overall design follows the principle of “simplicity and harmony, natural coexistence”, using natural wood as the bone and blue cloth as the rhyme, integrating the freedom, laziness, and pure nature of Southeast Asian islands into spatial details. The simple natural wood carries the living temperature, and the clear blues interprets the romance of mountains and seas. The collision of warm and cold, rigid and soft materials creates a richly layered and far-reaching vacation scene. It not only retains the regional cultural characteristics of Southeast Asian style, but also meets the aesthetic needs of modern people for light luxury, relaxation, and natural vacation spaces. It allows guests to immerse themselves in the poetry of mountains and seas indoors, relieve urban fatigue, and enjoy an immersive slow island life.
